Finally, all preparations behind me and several days of relaxing in So Cal to slow the pace find me at PCT uber volunteers, Scout and Frodo's house. They host, feed and transport up to 50 hikers to the trailhead every day during the season in a feat of logistical perfection. At 5:30 tomorrow morning our packs will be loaded into a caravan of vehicles and we will head to the border.
